My little Bam-Bam turned four last week. Four! Look at this sweet little face.....you'd never guess she was a bam-bam with a face like that, would you...
We celebrated last Saturday with a snow party, Arizona style. First we started out with ice-blocking. This is something Brian and I grew up doing at church youth group events except you actually rode large blocks of ice down a grassy hill. A couple of years ago, Brian wanted to try to take our kids to do it but couldn't find a place that sold the large blocks. So he came up with the brilliant idea to throw several bags of ice down and ride a boogie-board down it (necessity is the mother of invention, right?). It worked great and my kids love to do it.

After that we made "snowmen" which meant several of the dads got to get wrapped in toilet paper.
Which of course quickly disintegrated into a big toilet paper fight.
Mostly Miss C seemed a little overwhelmed by all of the activity. This was her first friend birthday party and there were about fifteen kids who came.
I loved her reaction to all the kids singing to her. She just seemed so little and shy all of a sudden with all those kids around her. But I think she really loved it.
I just love this girl so much and am amazed at how much older she seems just in the last couple of weeks. Her face is thinning out so much and she looks so grown up. She is such a fun and spunky girl with a smile for everyone and I just can't imagine life without her.

What a FUN and CREATIVE party!
I much prefer your snow party to the kind we would have here! Kids grow up way to fast. Even my 12 year old agreed the other day when we were talking about how he was 2/3rd's "done." So exciting and fabulous and sad at the same time.
C is just adorable. Really nice pictures. The party looked like so much fun!
